Programs Accreditation

Our Programs run through one academic year with two intakes annually.


  • We conduct our first intake on every 1st week of January and 2nd intake during the 1st week of May every year.
  • All our students train to be professionals in their respective programs of choice and go through a series of activities in the course of their study. We run our annual programs through 2 semesters that are sub-divided into 4 module periods of 10 weeks each.
  • During the 3rd Module Period (the beginning of the 2nd and final semester), we send our students to various Tourism and Hospitality institutions/camps/lodges or tour operating companies for their internship that equally run for 10 weeks (one whole module period).
  • During the 4th and Final module period, the students resume from various internship places and embark on a revision programs and finalizing of the remaining units (if any) in the respective curriculum(s). 
  • In the 2nd last week of the final 4th module period, the students prepare for their final national exams Accredited by National and International accreditation bodies as follows;
    • Tourism Division; 
      • Tour Guiding and Travel Operations Bronze Level - Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association (KPSGA)
      • Tourism and Wildlife Management - Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC)
    • Hospitality Division
      • Front Office Operations - Institute of Commercial Management UK (ICM)
      • Housekeeping, Laundry and Accommodation studies - Institute of Commercial Management UK (ICM)
      • Food and Beverages Service  - Institute of Commercial Management UK (ICM)
    • Culinary Art
      • Cookery / Food Production - City and Guilds UK
    • Other Special Programs  - Accredited at Nashulai Cultural Training Centre
      • Maasai Language
      • Conservation Methods and Techniques
      • French
      • Communication skills
      • Driving Lessons
  • Upon successful completion of the final studies exams from respective examining and accrediting bodies, students are awarded their CERTIFICATES of merit and qualification depending on the exams results. 
  • Alongside the certificates, students are also issued with recommendations letter in regard to the general behavioral conduct during the study period at Nashulai Cultural Training Centre.
